is AI about to change how outbound gets done?

here's what industry leaders are seeing

ColdIQ

Hey!

Leaders in the space shared what they observed about GTM over the past weeks. It's early, but this could be the start of a change in how outbound gets done.

#1 Pipedrive says AI changed how buyers find it

Pipedrive CRM product view

Pipedrive just proposed "the largest structural change" in its history. Its CEO says free traffic has declined sharply, paid traffic costs more, and more small businesses now ask AI which software to choose.

Its plan: a much smaller company, an AI-native sales system, and demand built on product, brand and content, with less reliance on paid search.

#2 HubSpot says buyers now want proof of AI first

HubSpot's CEO says AI is changing how customers find software and decide to buy it: "They want proof before they buy."

Its plan: free AI trials, new demand from intent-based marketing, AI search optimization (AEO) and reaching senior decision-makers earlier in the deal.

#3 ChatGPT search is about 20% of Google's

ChatGPT search bar

OpenAI says ChatGPT now handles search-like activity equal to roughly 20% of Google's search volume. That's OpenAI's own number, but it suggests where the questions are going.

Its next moves: sponsored product images inside ChatGPT, and answers that turn into visual, interactive interfaces.

From what I observe, they're converging on finding demand through intent. That's exactly what ColdIQ helps you do, with buying signals like hiring, job changes and funding.
